My project aims to make people who do not suffer from OCD experience what
it might be like having to deal with this disorder and increase their sense
of empathy for those who do.
This will hopefully make people realise OCD should not be used as a casual, fashionable term to describe lesser ‘afflictions’. I have utilised the fairy tale “Little red riding hood” as this plays with notions of good and bad - often an underlying issue with OCD sufferers. My print pieces explore two OCD's -searching for “evil contaminations” in text and the belief that some numbers are better than others.
