My project is a niche magazine which attempts to challenge the usual editing procedures employed on most editorial publications - ie relinquishing hierarchical editorial control.
To achieve this I have put image and text together using Aleatory [Random] Procedures
– in this case the outcomes depended on the throw of a dice. I have also used deliberately coarse, tight binding with an emphasis on materials and textures in order to get the feel of a custom-made product with which the reader actively struggles – physically and conceptually.

The magazine has no name and has 3 issues a year, each issue governed by a different presiding theme- in this eg ‘Perfect Imperfection’. Follow-up material can be found on the magazine’s website.
